Dr. Michael Toffler


Biography

Dr. Michael Toffler received his D.D.S. from the New York University, College of Dentistry in 1983, graduating with honors and inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society in 1983. Dr. Toffler gained his certificate of General Practice Residency and Residency in Periodontology from the Veterans Administration Medical Center in West Los Angeles in 1986.

He is currently in private practice limited to Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in New York City, New York.

Dr. Toffler is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and served as a Staff Periodontist at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in New York City from 1991 to 2007. He is well-published and has written book chapters and many articles in peer-reviewed journals on Sinus Elevation, Ridge Augmentation and Platelet Rich Fibrin.

He has also designed and patented instruments for implant/sinus surgery which are used by clinicians throughout the world. Dr. Toffler is also an active clinical researcher in Implantology, lecturing frequently at national and international meetings.
