Dr. Valerie Klein


Biography

Dr. Valerie Klein is a native New Yorker. She is filled with pride as an alumna of everything Columbia. Dr. Klein received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Columbia College; she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) Degree from the Columbia School of Dental and Oral Surgery now known as Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine; she pursued her residency in general dentistry at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and completed her three-year, post- graduate specialty training in Periodontics at Columbia’s dental school as well.

Dr. Klein values the importance of education as well as the importance of giving back. She proudly serves as an Instructor in Clinical Dental in the department of Periodontics at Columbia’s College of Dental Medicine. She attends continuing education courses to keep up-to-date with the latest advances and newest technologies in periodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Klein is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Northeastern Society of Periodontists, the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, and the New York County Dental Society.

Dr. Klein has extensive experience in all aspects of surgical and non- surgical periodontal care. She is praised by patients for her compassion and professionalism as well as for her ability to provide gentle yet comprehensive treatment.
